FAQ
Q: How do we get you into our school?

A: Feel free to reach us by phone or e-mail through the contact page, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. I am usually booked about two months in advance, but sometimes there are ways I can adjust my schedule for special needs.

Q: Why are your prices half those of most national speakers?

A: I don’t believe a school should have to spend an outrageous amount of taxpayer money to get a quality program into their district. That’s why I’ve tried to keep my prices reasonable while still making enough to be a self-employed speaker/consultant. I promise that I will deliver as much, if not more, than any of the high-priced speakers that are out there.

Q: In what types of places do you usually speak?

A: Although I mostly speak in high schools and middle schools, I also present in colleges, elementary schools, alternative schools, churches, rotary clubs, conventions, conferences, and a lot of other places. I am willing to address almost any crowd for any occasion. Don’t feel like your event or organization is outside my scope of expertise. I am willing to try and cater to any group that may see a benefit in having me come and speak.

Q: What do you need for your presentation?

A: I am one of the simplest speakers for whom you will have to prepare. All I need is a cordless mike (preferably hand held), a stool to hold my water, and...well...that’s it. I prefer to stand on the floor as opposed to the stage.

Q: What are your tips for a successful assembly?

A: I usually suggest having students sit in assigned seats, with teachers seated amongst the student body or standing along the wall from the front of the auditorium to the back. Problem groups of students should be identified before the assembly even starts. It helps if the bells can be turned off in the auditorium for the duration of the presentation.

Q: Is there a way to get a discounted price?

A: The best way to get a discount on my already extremely reasonable prices is to coordinate with other schools in the area to save me another trip to your part of the country. This way the cost of getting to your area and other expenses is split among the numerous schools. The more school districts that are included, the cheaper it will be for each one.

"You came to our school a couple of weeks ago. I really LOVED your presentation! A week later everyone is still raving about you!"
